There are many reasons, making kids not good at Math. To help them, you need to be aware of those reasons.

To be aware means to recognize!

Not every kids show their ability in Math, I mean obviously way like black or white. The ability is something hiden even in us, adults. I believe we are still in progress, in the middle of something named Discovery

Well, until one day, you read your kids' score card, and you don't want to believe in it

When I write this game, I start to investigate the reasons why with memories back to old shool days

I don't like Biology, Literature, History, things that I have to memorize. To memorize something, that I don't understand, see no connection... is really a terrible thing.

I tried to adapt with the situation by convincing myself that they were not important. I will not need to use it in the future. I even make joke about that.

As a consequence, I even tried to ignore that I have to take the Biology examination to pass the high school. The result was bad, I just got a minimum score to pass the high school, The worst in my class for the biology subject

Nobody want to show that they are kind of dummy, or ... stupid at something, even kids right? This is the reason, making them not to talk about their weakness... in front of others. Worse, some even try to ignore that they even exist

This, again, as a consequence, keeps them far away from the track, and the same thing happen to MATH

Math PHOBIA, yes, do you ever hear about it? How to recognize it? How to fix it?

I am not a doctor, and to write about sickness, symstomps, medical stuffs... there are many others doing that better. I just tried to share with you my experience that I think it is the main reason making kids bad at a subject like I do in Biology

But, now I guess you know what PHOBIA is, and you might have the answer to the question at the beginng title, How to help your kids better at Math :).

I think It is to realize the root of the problem as soon as possible, and gently help them overcome it

Gently, I mean, something nice keeps kids playing and learning everyday, by encourage them doing so

Framkly speaking, I am writing this game, with this in mind, detecting kids' weakness in math and slowly help them to fix it
